Siemphony is in beta and still being built. How a rule earns its badge.

Siemphony’s repertoire

DLL loaded from a temp, roaming or UNC path without a valid signature

MITRE's Windows analytic for Shared Modules describes a process loading a DLL from a user-writable, temp or UNC location, or from an unsigned/invalid signer, shortly before or after that DLL is written to disk and the loading process beacons out. Only the module load itself is a single event, so this rule matches Sysmon Module Load where `ImageLoaded` sits under one of the paths named by MITRE's SuspiciousPathRegex knob (%TEMP%, %APPDATA%, \\server\share) and the signature is anything other than Valid — the UnsignedOnly knob turned into logic. The file-write and network legs of the chain need a join across three log sources and a timer, which Sigma cannot express, so they are deliberately absent rather than faked with invented fields. UNVERIFIED AS AUTHORED — derived from MITRE ATT&CK DET0018, not hand-written and not tested by its author. Any lab result is on this rule's own page.Full description

The detection

The 4 SIEM queries below are previews produced by Siemphony’s own translator, not pySigma, and none has been executed against a real backend — review before you deploy.
